Hall Summit is a small Red River Parish town in northwestern Louisiana's pine hills, about 30 miles from Shreveport via I-220 west to Highway 155 north. The area gets real seasons and rolling terrain unlike most of Louisiana. Locals use Highway 155 to reach US 84 for regional trips, while longer journeys require driving to Shreveport for Interstate 20 access. The volunteer fire department operates from a brick building that serves as the community's unofficial gathering spot.
