Guion is a tiny Arkansas community of 61 people in Izard County, about 15 miles southwest of Melbourne via Highway 69. Most visitors arrive from Little Rock (120 miles) via US 65 north through Marshall, then Highway 69 east and south. The area sits in scenic Ozark foothills near the White River, famous for excellent trout fishing below Bull Shoals Dam.
