Gridley is a small farming town in central Illinois, about 20 miles northeast of Bloomington-Normal on Route 9. Most visitors arrive via this main east-west highway after a 25-minute drive through corn and soybean fields. Interstate 74 provides regional access from Peoria or Champaign, connecting through Route 9. The town's historic grain elevator still dominates the skyline as a working reminder of its agricultural roots.
