Gresham is Portland's largest eastern suburb, located 20 miles out via I-84 or Highway 26. The MAX Blue Line connects downtown areas, while Highway 212 heads south toward Oregon City. The city sits in rolling terrain with Cascade foothills to the south and offers clear Mount Hood views on sunny days. Downtown features the historic Carnegie Library from 1913, now an arts center.
