Gregory is a small Gulf Coast town about 20 miles northwest of Corpus Christi, reached via Highway 181 from the coast or Interstate 37 from San Antonio. With 2,000 residents, it offers quiet small-town living near petrochemical facilities and coastal recreation. The town was named after Thomas Wentworth Gregory, who became U.S. Attorney General under President Wilson.
