Greenwood anchors Mississippi's Delta region where Highways 82 and 49 intersect, about 100 miles north of Jackson. The flat cotton country makes for easy driving, and the small airport sits 3 miles east of downtown. Most famous as one of three possible burial sites for blues legend Robert Johnson.
