Greenville is a small farming town in north-central Florida's Madison County, about 50 miles east of Tallahassee via US 90 and State Road 14. Most visitors take I-10 to Exit 241, then drive 8 miles north on SR 14. The area features rolling hills and oak-lined canopy roads unusual for Florida. The town's 1860 railroad depot is one of the state's oldest surviving antebellum train stations.
