united states

Greenup is a small Ohio River town in northeastern Kentucky, right where three states meet. Most people drive in on US Route 23, the main north-south highway through eastern Kentucky's hills. It's about 30 miles from I-64 if you're coming from farther away. The town sits in Eastern Time Zone and has around 800 residents. The big landmark here is the Greenup Locks and Dam, which has been managing Ohio River traffic since 1962.
