Greencastle is a college town in west-central Indiana, home to DePauw University and about 9,800 residents. Located 45 miles southwest of Indianapolis, it's easily reached via I-70 west to Exit 41, then US 231 south. The town sits amid rolling farmland with a continental climate featuring hot summers and cold winters. The 1905 courthouse with its distinctive clock tower anchors the historic downtown square.
