Green is a tiny farming community in north-central Kansas, home to fewer than 100 people. Located about 20 miles northwest of Clay Center via US-24 and Clay County Road 18, it sits amid rolling prairie typical of the Flint Hills. The settlement's most notable landmark is its preserved 1904 one-room schoolhouse.
