Gratiot is a small farming town in southwestern Wisconsin's Lafayette County, connected mainly by Highway 81. Most visitors arrive from Platteville, 15 miles east, or from Prairie du Chien via Highway 35 to the west. The town sits in Wisconsin's driftless region with rolling agricultural land. Its historic 1896 one-room schoolhouse remains a local landmark.
