Granville is a small Illinois River town in Putnam County, about 15 miles north of I-80 via Route 29. Most visitors come from the Quad Cities (45 miles) or drive down from Chicago (100 miles via I-80). The town sits among rolling farmland with a historic swing bridge over the Illinois River that still opens for boat traffic.
