Grant is a small Michigan city of about 1,100 people in Newaygo County, sitting along the Muskegon River about 30 miles northeast of Grand Rapids. Take M-37 north from Grand Rapids for the most direct 45-minute drive, or use M-46 for east-west connections to Hesperia and Howard City. The town serves as a gateway to outdoor recreation areas and features a restored 1907 railroad depot that now houses the historical society.
