Grant City is a small farming town in northwest Missouri's Worth County, about 90 miles north of Kansas City. Highway 169 runs north-south through town while US Route 136 provides the main east-west connection. Most visitors arrive from Kansas City via I-35 north to Highway 136, or from nearby Maryville and Bethany on local routes. The 1916 Worth County Courthouse dominates the town square with its distinctive red brick clock tower.
