Granite Falls is a small mountain town about 45 miles northeast of Seattle, serving as the gateway to the Cascade Mountains via the scenic Mountain Loop Byway. Take I-5 north to the Marysville exit, then follow State Route 92 east for 15 miles through rolling farmland. The town sits along the Stillaguamish River and houses Washington's only municipal railway museum in a restored 1906 train depot.
