Grandin is a tiny farming town of about 120 people in eastern North Dakota's Red River Valley, sitting along Highway 18 about 20 miles northwest of Fargo. The drive from Fargo takes you through flat prairie farmland, while visitors from Grand Forks can reach it via Highway 2 west to Highway 18 south. The town's historic grain elevator still dominates the skyline and operates as part of the local agricultural economy.
