Grand Pass is a tiny farming town of 48 people in central Missouri's Saline County, about 15 miles southeast of Marshall via State Route 41. From Kansas City, take I-70 west to Exit 78, then Route 41 south. The town sits in Missouri River valley farmland and gets its name from an old river crossing that early settlers used as a natural ford.
