Grabill is a farming community of 1,100 people located 15 miles northeast of Fort Wayne via State Road 1 and State Road 101. The town sits in rolling agricultural country near the Ohio border, with Interstate 469 providing the main highway connection for longer trips. Smith Field airport is just south of town for private aircraft. The annual Country Fair each September showcases traditional crafts and celebrates the area's agricultural heritage.
