Good Hope is a small Alabama city of about 2,600 people located 50 miles north of Birmingham in Cullman County. Reach it via I-65 Exit 310, then west on Highway 91, or take US-278 from Cullman. The rolling Appalachian foothills provide a scenic backdrop, while Birmingham-Shuttlesworth Airport sits about an hour south. The city was named after Good Hope Baptist Church, founded here in the 1870s.
