Gonvick is a tiny community of 221 people in northwestern Minnesota's lake country, about 30 miles northeast of Bagley. Reach it via Highway 92 east from Bagley, then north on County Road 1, winding through dense forests and past small lakes in the Chippewa National Forest region. The town's post office has served residents since 1901 and still functions as an informal community gathering spot.
