Goliad is a small Texas town about 90 miles from both San Antonio and Corpus Christi, accessible via US 183 and US 77A. Most visitors drive US 183 from Interstate 37 or US 77A from Victoria. The town serves as Goliad County seat in the coastal plains region. Its main attraction is Presidio La Bahía, a remarkably preserved 1749 Spanish colonial fort.
