Goldville is a tiny rural community of 55 people in Tallapoosa County, reached via State Route 22 from Dadeville. The town sits among pine forests and farmland about 50 miles from Montgomery and 100 miles from Atlanta via Interstate 85. Named for the 1840s gold mining operations that briefly flourished in the area.
