Goldthwaite is the Mills County seat in central Texas Hill Country, home to about 1,800 people. Take US 183 north from Austin (90 miles) or southeast from Brownwood (30 miles), with Highway 16 providing east-west access. Plan EV charging in larger towns before arrival.
