Goldstream is a small community about 15 miles southwest of Fairbanks along the Parks Highway. With around 3,300 residents, it sits in a valley where Goldstream Creek flows toward the Tanana River. Most visitors drive from Fairbanks International Airport, about 25 miles away, or use it as a rest stop on the long haul between Fairbanks and Anchorage. The town has natural hot springs that stay unfrozen even at minus 60 degrees.
