Goldsby is a small Oklahoma town of about 3,000 people located 25 miles south of Oklahoma City on Interstate 35. Exit 91 connects to the town center, while Highway 9 runs east-west toward Norman and the University of Oklahoma. Most traffic consists of commuters using I-35 or Highway 76 to reach Oklahoma City, plus long-distance travelers between Dallas and Kansas City. The volunteer fire department still operates an authentic 1950s fire engine in active service.
