Golden is a tiny Mississippi town of about 200 people in the state's northeastern corner, near the Alabama line. Highway 25 runs right through it, connecting north to Iuka and south toward Fulton and Tupelo. It's tucked into the rolling, forested hills where the Delta meets Appalachian foothills. The old Mobile and Ohio Railroad depot still marks where trains once hauled timber through this remote corner of Tishomingo County.
