Goff is a tiny farming town of 133 people in northeastern Kansas, about 20 miles northwest of Sabetha via US Highway 75 and county roads. It's roughly an hour's drive north from Topeka through rolling agricultural country. The town serves the surrounding corn and soybean farms, with its historic concrete grain elevator standing as the area's most recognizable landmark.
