Glenvil is a small farming town in south-central Nebraska, about 15 miles southwest of Hastings via Highway 6 and Highway 14. The main route from Interstate 80 runs south from Grand Island or York through agricultural country. Most traffic consists of locals heading to Hastings for services or farmers moving between fields. The town still follows its original 1880s street grid, laid out parallel to the railroad tracks.
