Glenfield is a tiny farming town in Foster County, about 45 miles northwest of Jamestown via Highway 281 north to Carrington, then Highway 200 west. The town sits at the crossroads of county roads serving the surrounding agricultural area. Its restored 1920s grain elevator still operates during harvest and serves as a prairie landmark visible for miles.
