Glendale is a small city in Milwaukee County, about 10 miles north of downtown Milwaukee via Interstate 43. Highway 100 runs along its western edge, while Silver Spring Drive and Good Hope Road provide east-west connections. The Lawrence J. Timmerman Airport borders the city for general aviation. The city hall's 1950s clock tower remains a distinctive local landmark.
