Glendale is a tiny red rock country town of 493 people in Kane County, perfectly positioned between Zion and Bryce Canyon national parks. State Route 9 runs right through town, connecting west to Hurricane and St. George, east toward Mount Carmel Junction and US-89. Most visitors arrive via I-15 from Las Vegas or Salt Lake City, then follow the scenic desert highways through spectacular sandstone country. The 1896 schoolhouse on Main Street still anchors the community as a meeting hall.
