Glen Ullin is a farming town of 700 people along I-94, about 45 minutes west of Bismarck. Take Exit 42 off the interstate to reach the Heart River community. The town hosts an annual Sunflower Festival each September featuring eight-foot-tall locally grown sunflowers.
