Glasford is a small farming town in central Illinois, about 15 miles southwest of Peoria via Route 97. The village sits in rolling prairie country and serves as a quiet agricultural hub. Most visitors arrive through Peoria International Airport, 25 miles northeast, or drive Route 97 from Peoria or Springfield. The town's original 1940s grain elevator still towers over the railroad tracks, visible for miles across the surrounding farmland.
