Gilman City is a farming community in north-central Missouri, 90 miles northeast of Kansas City. Reach it via I-35 north to Cameron, then US-36 east and MO-6 north. The town sits where MO-6 meets MO-146, with daily trips to nearby Trenton and longer routes to Chillicothe. The grain elevator by the railroad tracks dominates the skyline across the prairie.
