Gifford is a small farming town of 822 people in east-central Illinois, about 15 miles northeast of Champaign-Urbana. Take I-57 to Exit 250, then Route 9 east for 8 miles, or drive Route 9 directly from Champaign in 20 minutes. The town sits in flat prairie farmland and hosts an annual Corn Festival each August that draws visitors from across the region.
