Gibsonville is a small city in north-central North Carolina, about 20 miles northeast of Greensboro via I-85 Exit 147. US Highway 70 and NC Highway 61 provide additional access through this former textile town in the rolling Piedmont region. The city claims to be the birthplace of denim, first woven here at White Oak Cotton Mills in 1880.
