Gibson is a small farming town in Scotland County, about 15 miles southwest of Laurinburg. Reach it via US 15-401 from Fayetteville (45 miles south) or from Charlotte via US 74 to Rockingham, then US 15-401 south. The town's old tobacco warehouses recall its days as a major leaf tobacco market.
