Geronimo is a small Oklahoma town about 15 miles northeast of Lawton, accessible via State Highway 8 from I-44. The community of just over 1,000 sits in rolling prairie country typical of Comanche County. Named after the Apache leader who spent his final years imprisoned at nearby Fort Sill, the town serves as a quiet agricultural center along one of the area's historic transportation corridors.
