Germantown is a small Ohio city of about 6,000 people located 20 miles north of Dayton on Interstate 75. The main access is via I-75, with State Route 725 running east-west through town and Route 4 providing local connections. Most visitors come from Cincinnati (45 miles south) or Columbus (70 miles northeast) on I-75. The historic Florentine Opera House from 1877 anchors downtown and still hosts live theater.
