Georgetown is a tiny Mississippi town of 220 people in Copiah County, connected by Highway 28 between Hazlehurst and Brookhaven. Most visitors pass through on local routes or use it as a waypoint to reach I-55 near Hazlehurst for trips to Jackson or New Orleans. The historic Methodist church with its white steeple serves as the town's landmark.
