Geneva sits on Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes, about 50 miles from both Rochester and Syracuse. Take I-90 to Exit 42, then Route 14 south, or follow US Route 20 directly through town. The city anchors the northern end of the longest Finger Lakes and houses the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station, which maintains one of the world's largest collections of historic apple varieties.
