Geneseo is a small farming town in central Kansas, population 213, sitting along US Highway 56 about 15 miles northwest of Lyons. The main route in is US 56, with connections north to I-70 via county roads or Highway 14. It's classic Great Plains country with wheat fields stretching in all directions. The massive grain elevator towers over everything and can be spotted from miles away across the flat prairie.
