Genesee is a small farming town in Idaho's Palouse wheat country, about 20 miles south of Moscow on US Highway 95. The main routes are US 95 north-south and State Route 9 west to Lewiston. The restored 1907 Union Pacific depot downtown recalls the town's railroad heritage from the wheat boom era.
