Gearhart is a small Oregon beach town on Highway 101, about 80 miles from Portland via US-26 west. It's 3 miles north of Seaside and 12 miles south of Astoria. The wide, flat beach allows vehicle access directly onto the sand, making it one of the few Oregon coastal spots where you can park your car right at the surf line.
