Gaston is a small farming community in east-central Indiana, located along State Road 28 about 12 miles northeast of Muncie. Drivers typically reach it via SR-28 from Muncie or by taking I-69 north from Indianapolis then connecting through local roads. The town serves as a quiet residential base for commuters working in the Muncie area. Gaston's volunteer fire department still operates from its original 1950s brick firehouse on Main Street.
