Garibaldi is a small fishing town where the Nehalem River meets the Pacific, about 80 miles northwest of Portland via US 26 and Highway 101. The scenic coastal route on 101 connects it to Cannon Beach and Lincoln City. With fewer than 800 residents, it maintains a working waterfront and one of Oregon's last active lumber mills, where massive log trucks still roll through the downtown streets.
