Garber is a tiny farming town of 105 people in northeastern Iowa's bluff country along the Mississippi River. Highway 18 runs right through town, connecting east to McGregor (8 miles) and the scenic Great River Road, or west toward Monona. The historic grain elevator still operates seasonally and dominates the small downtown skyline.
