Gallaway is a small farming town in western Tennessee, about 35 miles east of Memphis via Highway 64. Most visitors arrive from I-40, taking the Highway 64 exit south through rural countryside. The community of 600 sits in rolling agricultural land typical of the region between the Mississippi River and Tennessee's interior hills. Memphis International Airport is about 45 miles southwest. The town's historic railroad depot recalls its origins as an Illinois Central Railroad stop in the late 1800s.
