Gallatin River Ranch is a tiny Montana community of 127 people in the Gallatin Valley, about 20 minutes south of Bozeman via Highway 85. Most visitors arrive through Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, 15 miles away, or drive I-90 to Exit 309 near Belgrade. The area serves as a base for guest ranches and fishing lodges along the blue-ribbon Gallatin River, which offers excellent trout fishing with reliable insect hatches all summer.
