Galestown is a tiny Eastern Shore community in Dorchester County, home to just 114 people. You'll reach it via Route 16, which connects to Cambridge 15 miles northwest and links to US Route 50 for longer trips to Baltimore or D.C. The flat marshland and agricultural roads make for easy driving through classic Chesapeake Bay country. The town got its name from the Gale family's 1700s-era mill.
